Church Des Artistes is a unique Guest House run by a composer and artist couple who live in a historic 1800's renovated church hall in the Rondout waterfront section of Kingston. Located just up the hill from restaurants, marinas, art galleries, boating,kayaking, and easy drives to hikes and swimming or skiing. Church Des Artistes is perfectly situated less than 20 minutes drive from Woodstock, Bard College, Rhinebeck, Rosendale, mountain lakes and waterfalls. A complimentary continental breakfast with organic coffee and teas is available on weekdays along with free highspeed WiFi Internet access. Weekends feature an optional gourmet "farm to table" breakfast. The home is filled with beautiful abstract paintings and the pleasing aesthetic touch of a renown artist. During winter months guests enjoy lounging in The Great Hall and read by fire in the the Jotul stove. In the warmer weather guests can sit in the garden and read/text/surf by the fountain or under the umbrella. There is an easy walk down the hill to "The Strand" where yachts and tour boats dock and restaurants, galleries and shops abound.
