About Domaine de l'Ocrerie

Former 18th century ocher factory located at the foot of the yellow ocher quarry, and former residence of France Gall and her parents in the 1960s, this building was rehabilitated into a guest house in 2018 with 3 spacious and comfortable suites with each has its own bespoke & vintage furniture. We are an art house where many artists are exhibited on our walls. We promote artistic and cultural tourism by organizing exhibitions with us: 'Un Oeil sur Colette' until June 25, 23 with an in situ collage by street artist 13 bis stuck on a wall in the park. It represents the writer Colette. We also offer dinner in the lounges or the park on sunny days. We are located in Burgundy, 1h30 south of Paris, in a bucolic & green countryside of vineyards, fields, forests & ponds called La Puisaye. You would be surprised to discover the many sites nearby: medieval castle of Guédelon, castle of St Fargeau, castle of Ratilly, castle of Maulnes...; Colette's House, the Colette Museum, Chablis, Auxerre...
