B&B Galla Placidia is situated right in the heart of Ravenna, just a few steps away from the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and the Basilica of San Vitale. Located on a quiet walkway near a verdant public park area, it's an ideal place to stay if you want to combine art and culture with a quiet relaxing atmosphere. GALLA PLACIDIA is situated on two floors of a very large semi-detached house, with ample space and comfortable surroundings. Three rooms are available, all fitted with air-conditioning, private bathroom, hair dryer and toiletries for the bathroom, WIFI internet connection. One of the rooms, which can be classified almost as a suite, has a 20 sq. m. terrace offering a splendid view of the old city roofs and the bell tower of San Vitale. The breakfast includes a large variety of choice. We do our best to satisfy all our clients offering cold and hot drinks like cappuccino, milk with barley or chocolate, espresso coffee, American coffee, fruit juices, different types of tea. You can find cereals, yogurt, marmalade, Italian honey, toasted bread, fresh bread, fresh brioches, cakes, a variety of biscuits and seasonal fruit. In addition, various typical salty products of our region, like cheese, on request. Breakfast also includes products without gluten and with soya milk on request. GALLA PLACIDIA'S position is well-suited for touring the city on foot or by bicycle, available free of charge from the tourist agency: you're just seconds away from the Basilica of San Vitale, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, the National Museum and all the other monuments, the beautiful city center with its elegant shopping, Piazza del Popolo - the hub of the city - , the renowned Ca' de Ven where you can combine excellent vintage Sangiovese wine with typical local food.
