We offer a warm welcome, comfortable rooms and a full English breakfast of home grown and local produce. Joined-Up Holidays welcomes families, cyclists, walkers, hikers, mountain bikers, horse riders, business users, stargazers and people with mobility or other disabilities. We are an eco-friendly and dog friendly site and there is stabling and grazing available for people who wish to bring their horses on holiday with them.. There are facilities for drying boots and coats, secure storage for saddles and bikes and packed lunches can be ordered in advance. Visitors can say hello to our rare breed sheep, pigs and poultry then visit Hamsterley Forest with over 5000 acres of scenic walks less than a mile away. Also nearby; High Force which is England's highest waterfall, Low Force and Bowlees visitors centre, Raby Castle and Deer Park, Bowes Museum - a wonderful French style chateau full of art and artefacts, Barnard Castle a charming market town and Auckland Castle the home of the Bishops of Durham and Kynren a spectacular outdoor historical show.
