Bed & Breakfast Le Clos de la Barre (Basly, France)

We are situated at 5km from the sea and 10km North of Caen, in a little village very calm. In the center of the Dday beaches and of the various historical sites, we are at 45mn from Ste Mère Eglise on the West and 45mn from Honfleur on the East. Falaise is at 35mn South of us. Our home has five rooms very confortable, three have large shower and two have bath and separate shawer. Bathrobe and hair dryer are in all rooms. We have as well an apartment with two bedrooms which can sleep from 2 to 6 persons, with a little kitchen and a living room. The breakfast lounge has a television, some games and lots of books of which a great number are in English. Françoise, Alain'wife make all the jam and marmelades as well as a great breakfast cake. Alain will serve you breakfast. He has worked for the last 50 years in luxury hotels in many countries around the world. Our family has dual citizenship, we are Canadiens as well as French. Alain will be glad to give you recommendation to visit the most interresting sites during the time of your stay. We have world war II sites but as well the historical sites from William the conqueror. We hope to be able to see you in our home soon. Have good vacation and a good trip.
