Selkie House is situated on the Harbour front in Helmsdale village facing the sea with great views over the Moray firth of the opposite coastline towards Buckie, Lossiemouth and Tarbitness. I have 2 letting bedrooms, both facing south over the harbour and equipped with vanity basins shaver points and mirrors. A fully equipped shower room is located further down the hallway and is shared by both rooms. Each room has a smart tv installed with Netflix and wifi etc. The beds have top of the range luxury mattresses and are double sized. Access is available around the cock to the kitchen which is fully equipped with microwave oven conventional oven and tea and coffee making facilities. A compehensive range of teas coffees hot chocolate biscuits and fruit are always available. Breakfast is also served in this room at a pre arranged time and cooked to each customers requirements. A wide varied menu is on offer including yoghurt and fresh fruit with a range of cerials including porridge with traditional sausage bacon and eggs. if required this is inclusive of the price. Vegan and vegitarian options are available. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome free of charge, There are super coastal walks from the front door which is an ideal doggie facility. Helmsdale village is well appointed with various shops a small food hall and plenty of good eating houses and pubs. The most famous is La mirage reputed to be the best fish and chip shop in the North, who have a large appreciative following. Lovely views surround the village with spectacular car journeys up the Strath of Kildonan towards Forsinard and the flow country , also the coast road to Lybster, Dunbeath, Wick the north coast and ferries to Orkney Isles,
