About The House at Temple Sowerby B&B

Temple Sowerby House Hotel (& Restaurant) dates back to the 1700s and is peacefully located in the Eden Valley, between the Lake District and the Pennines. The 12 en-suite bedrooms are individually designed. Facilities include: free Wi-Fi, colour TV, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer, luxury toiletries, telephone, alarm clock and a desk space. Pillows are hypoallergenic. Temple Sowerby House Hotel (& Restaurant) stands in two acres of walled gardens. These include a croquet lawn, terrace and a herb garden which supplies fresh herbs for the kitchen. Breakfast choices are served in the restaurant. Later in the day, pre-dinner drinks can be enjoyed on the terrace or, weather not permitting, in the lounge and in front of a log fire. Dinner selections consist of classic French and British dishes. Golf, walking, fishing and shooting are popular activities; plus there are expeditions around theEden Valley and the Lake District.
