About Watson Lodge

The Watson Lodge Guest House is a quaint, early 19th century townhouse located in an active but serene district of Galashiels, Scotland. The town is know for its wool and tweed industry and is located on the hills over Gala Water. Guests will enjoy the charming surroundings and nearby activities. Rooms at the guest house include TV, Wi-Fi, tea and coffee making utensils, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. Some rooms include an en-suite bathroom while others have shared facilities. Amenities include on-site free parking and facilities for the physically challenged. Guests have a choice of a full cooked Scottish breakfast, vegetarian, or continental. There are a number of fine dining places in the area as well. Edinburgh is a one-hour drive from the Watson Lodge Guest House. New Castle is two-hours away by car. There are also a number of local outdoor activities like cycling, walking, and horseback riding.
