Camping site Umziki Chalets (Jozini, South Africa)

Umziki is ideally situated close enough to the N2 yet deep enough to be completely surrounded with bushveld and wild animals. 6km from the launch site at the Jozini dam, next to Senekal Sugar Farmer's pump station. Umziki offers a relaxed, kick off your shoes experience with 7 airconditioned self catering chalets and 2 under cover stands with private ablusions for camping. The spectacular view of the Jozini dam and Ubombo mountain, can be enjoyed from the outside kitchenettes and braai stands at each chalet while being 1 with nature. From the stands, the view is enjoyed from the private boma's, under cover areas and private splashpools. Different species of antelope and warthogs can be seen daily, walking around inside the fenced lodge, often sleeping on the lawn right in front of the guest's accommodation. The dam at Umziki attrackts a variety of animals including buffalo, giraffe, the ilusive leopard, jackal, hyena etc. For game lovers and photographers, a hide is just a few steps away on the edge of the Umziki dam. For the young at heart, we have a 58m waterslide as well as a 3m kiddies waterslide that ends in shallow water. We have a kiddies zipline that is very close to the ground for safety reasons, positioned to work with the natural slope this piece of earth has to offer. We have a tv area close to the boma where groups can social around a bonfire. An extra bigger kitchen is available for group bookings too. Close to Umziki but not walking distance, we have a kurper and bass dam, specifically for our Umziki guests only. To fish at the Jozini dam, please provide your proof of accommodation at Umziki to be let in by the guard.
