Villa La Topaia, which is celebrated for having provided the backdrop to the tempestuous love story between novelist Sibilla Aleramo and poet Dino Campana in 1916, stands at the top of a gently rolling hill overlooking a small valley of cultivated fields splendidly alternated by extensive woods. Our location in the green heart of the Mugello valley at the foot of the Tuscan Apennines offers an enchanting view of a charming corner of Tuscan countryside, marked on the right by the historic Romanesque church of San Giovanni Maggiore and on the left by the stately Villa di Corte and the century-old park of the Marquis Frescobaldi. Tireless shoppers will be equally delighted by the choice of shops in the nearby Barberino fashion outlet or the numerous period 'botteghe' offering traditional crafts and local produce. Inside the Villa La Topaia, after a recent attentive restoration, there are now 6 comfortable double rooms with bathroom, a suite with a queen size bed, bathroom, and a suite with a double room, a single room, bathroom and for a total of 8 rooms in the villa. Altogether can accommodate up to 17 guests.
