Casa rural Fattoria di Mandri (Reggello, Italy)

The 4 star Villa di Mandri with the farm and its Borgo is located in the municipality of Reggello near Florence and the welcome gives you some information about the property. The current appearance of the villa dates back to the mid-seventeenth century as in the façade (1666). Historical information indicate that the villa in the fifteenth century was owned by the family Carnesecchi and was later purchased by a branch of the Medici family, cousins ​​of the reigning Grand Duke and that it belonged to them for centuries to the present day. In the second half of the eighteenth century, at the time of the agrarian reform of the Grand Duke Lepoldo II, the villa was added to the village with the typical structure of the houses Leopoldine. After long and careful restoration in the Borgo there are apartments that are rented to guests and two small cottages in the vast green space that also have been restored. Given the historical and architectural importance of the Villa and Borgo, Mandri and annex has been declared a National Monument.
