La Cartuja de Cazalla is a former 15th century restored Carthusian monastery, situated in the Nature Reserve Sierra Norte, a mere 1.15 hours from Seville city. Magnificent setting. You can enjoy visiting the grounds, strolling inside the monument, and enjoy country walks nearby, visit the old iron mine of Cerro del Hierro, the Hueznar river valley with waterfalls, and enjoy visiting the villages of Cazalla de la Sierra, neighbouring villages, and enjoy the local gastronomy (tapas bars, restaurants, etc). We also host as an event and wedding venue, and organise retreats (silence, mindfulness, yoga, etc).
