Casa rural La Traversina (Stazzano, Italy)

On the border of Liguria and Piedmont sits the hillside property la Traversina. The house is immersed in woods, barely visible through the ivy and roses vines that conceal it - a true spectacle in May/June. This gives just a hint of one of the owner's two passions: cooking and gardening, both of which guests can participate in by taking lessons. The rooms are situated in the main farmhouse dating from 1714; the apartments are located next door in the converted barn and are all decorated in pleasant country style with antiques and family memorabilia. Guests/friends are made to feel right at home in this informal and tranquil atmosphere, where silence and privacy are highly respected and guests become a natural part of farm’s everyday life.
