This space was formerly the Almadas Palace. The roots of this palace date back to the 14th century. The building, which is considered one of the most important of Condeixa, was restructured in XIX. Here, there were lodged individualities of the most distinguished nobility and European royalty. Some of the special guests of the former palace were King D. Manuel I in 1500, D. Catarina, on his return to the Kingdom after the death of his husband Charles II of England in 1704, D. Pedro II, Charles of Austria and, finally, the infant of Spain D.
