Cunda Sakin Hotel (Ayvalık, Turkey)

The residents of Cunda wake up to coo sounds in the morning, have long and tasty breakfasts, read books in their cool stone houses after a swim, swing in their hammocks and have sweet naps. They drink their teas in their breezy patios, take a walk, have chats with friends before the evening falls. They enjoy life calmly. As three buddies who have been coming to Cunda as tourists for years, we decided to become Cunda residents when we saw the mansion from 1861. After lodging in many places as travellers ourselves, our intent here was to create a place with the peace of home and comfort of a hotel at the same time. Our architects designed spacious rooms for you to make you feel at home and give you a taste of living as a local. You will find herbal teas and books in your rooms that we think you will like. We used Marrakech plaster on the floors to make it a more natural feeling. We tried to give life to this beautiful Rum house without ruining its originality. And now we invite you to feel the Cunda spirit.
