Pros: We had stayed before and love the location so close to beach with parking nearby. Cons: All was very good, but if bedroom window is open in summer, the rubbish collection and other unloading is quite noisy and very early most mornings. It wouldn’t stop us from staying here again.

Very good

Pros: We were very happy to find this homely place for a couple of days visiting friends in Whitstable after a long European trip. Everything you need is there and the location is perfect, so close to everything. My four year old granddaughter loved finding the puzzles and games and we particularly appreciated the washer dryer. We would highly recommend Harbour Mews and wish we could have stayed longer. Cons: -

Pros: Very close to high st, beach and car park. Easy drive to other areas of interest in Kent. Cons: A little noisy a night due to street noise (understandable though when close to street) and a fan (shuts off at midnight)

Lovely stay at great cottage in Whitstable

Pros: The house was in a good location. Not too far from the beach and shops. The house has good amount of space. Communication with host was excellent. The toys for the kids to play with is a nice bonus. Cons: The house is mostly clean but there are areas where the cleaning could be a little better. The bath tub, the kitchen chairs, under the bed we found a empty bottle and the small tables by the TV has some stains. Some utilities could be popped up like washing liquid.

Nice house by the beach with a good host.

Pros: Great location to shops restaurants and harbour. No problem with parking in Victoria Street whenever we tried to park. House felt cosy. Ossies Fish and Chip shop within easy walking distance, been awarded Best Fish and chips in Kent. Lovely traditional bakers and green growcer. Even though there were things I didn't like, I would consider going back! Cons: Noise from extractor fan, from the Indian Restaurant at back of house. On until at least 11pm every night. Bathroom water pressure was low in shower and to flush the toilet. Bathroom could do with update, wall tiles, grouting and broken floor tile by toilet. Sharp knives in kitchen were blunt. Incomplete sets of tableware. All the towels in the kitchen and bathroom looked old. Bathroom hand towel had Bleach discolouration Windows were heavy, difficult to open and then we couldn't close them.

Little House by the Sea

Pros: n/a Cons: 2nd bedroom is a little small for 2 beds but for the 2 nights we stayed not an issue.

Great, lovely location close to shops and beach.

Pros: The location was lovely. It was central to other locations and using the bus and trains were very local and easy to walk to. The food was expensive but really good and if you like seafood it was excellent. Cons: The key number was not the one given by booking.com so we had to phone the owner and it was a completely different number. After a long journey on three trains it was very stressful. The house was generally clean but there was dirty cups and saucepans in the cupboard and cobwebs hanging fron the radiation in the bathroom. The bed settee was not the one on the pictures advertised and we required three beds to be made up and only two were but the lady did arrive within the hour to complete it. It was would have been nice to have a welcome pack telling how everything worked and perhaps a small amount of milk left in the fridge so we could have made a drink after a long journey. We had a lovely holiday but the first day was a little stressful.

Pros: The property was welcoming and comfortable with everything you could need for a self catered stay, with an excellent location in the heart of the town. Cons: One of the two twin beds was essentially a camp bed and a bit short - a tall person would struggle to fit in it!

Pros: Very near to everything we wanted to see and do. Parking was just over the road. An advantage! Clean. Everything we wanted. Cons: Attention to detail was lacking in some areas.

Pros: The Cottage is a hidden treasure Just 2 mins form the high street and the shops and it was very comfortable and we felt at home and would book again Cons: -

Pros: Excellent location, close to everything. Surprisingly quiet street being so close to the high street. Easy parking right near to the house. House was warm and welcoming. Book a restaurant if you are eating out though, tables go very fast Cons: Double bed with memory foam mattress . Not a great fan

Pros: Location excellent, close to all Whitstable's facilities/attractions and beach. Free parking space in car park nearby was a big plus. Cons: Nothing to be done about it, but if you are a light sleeper or disturbed by noise the ventilation system of the Indian restaurant to the rear was disturbing to back bedroom occupants - especially in the hot weather with window open. Paper version of "Welcome Pack" would be useful to non-tech occupiers, and also for dishwasher.

Very satisfactory last minute alternative to our original booking elsewhere in Whitstable.

Most enjoyable and relaxing

Pros: The cottage was very welcoming. The place was clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The location of the cottage was excellent. Close to the high street, the pubs and restaurants. Communication with Tommy was good. Instructions to enter the cottage was clear. Free parking at Victoria Car park was very useful. Cons: The cottage is on a lane that connects the high street to the other parts of Whitstable so it was noisy late at night when revelers return home after a good night out.
