Bend in the River Lodge, Stratford-upon-Avon is a privately owned riverside wooden lodge, located less than a mile from the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon The accommodation provides you with home from home comforts and includes a TV and heating. There are 2 bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom. There is a further full bathroom, lounge, dining room and fully fitted kitchen. You can enjoy river views from all the rooms and also relax on the decking watching the wildlife on the river bank and in the meadow. There is a river taxi service during the day near to the Lodge and takes you into the Marina (operates from Easter to end of October). Within 200 yards there is a restaurant and bar which overlooks the river, also a food store is within walking distance. There are one and a half miles of free fishing on the River Avon for guests of the Lodge (private licence only required). The property offers free parking and WiFi. Stratford is the birthplace of William Shakespeare, steeped in culture and history. Set in the beautiful rural Warwickshire countryside, on the banks of the river Avon. The town has an enormous range of bars, cafes, inns and restaurants.
