Your Island home is part of a small close knit "homestead" community-originally a fishing camp at the turn of the century. Their are 3 full time neighbors and 3 ocassional weekenders-thus are home is more of place to go to savor the peace of the Islands. If having a good ole fashioned whoopee party on the deck until midnight is your idea of a vacation (and who doesn't like that occasionally) than this location is probably not for you. Sound carries and this home has neighbors. I have mult bird feeders around the yard and when one gets quite and still, birds of all sorts will fly right up to you, along with our resident Doug Fir squirrels, Island deer and raccoon although we ask that you not feed the deer or raccoons. River Otters frequently swim by the house!
