Little has changed in the past 200 years on the hill (550 m) of La Fattoria: crops are still grown and you'll still find sheep there. Città di Castello is the most important city of the valley, with a quaint medieval centre and the second most well-known museum of Umbria: the Pinacoteca Comunale with paintings of Raffaello and Signorelli and others. Bigger cities like Arezzo (50 km) and Perugia (55 km) are easily reached. But you'll also find culture at home! La Fattoria has its own little museum with old farming equipment. Prefer something a bit more sporty? Plenty of opportunities to go for walks, cycle rides and even go horse riding. After all these activities you can catch your breath in your own garden or on your balcony with a lovely glass of wine. If you don't feel like cooking, the restaurant on the premises is open several times a week. Here the most delicious dishes are cooked with fresh produce from their own land: buon appetito! La Fattoria The farm house has been renovated recently and transformed into this perfect holiday home. The original ceiling beams and fireplaces were kept intact. The furnishings are neat, tasteful and full of character. The 8 apartments, of which we offer 6, are all in one building. The farmer lives in the adjacent property where you can also find the restaurant. There is a large lawn with playground equipment for the children and a swimming pool (12 x 6 m, 1.50m deep) with a stunning view.
