Fragile Hotel (Ciutadella, Spain)

Hotel Fragile is set in the heritage 18th century building, which in 1890 became a home to Marino Benejam Ferrer, Menorcean cartoonist, who's works are known worldwide. It is located in the historic heart of Ciutadella, 50 m from the Cathedral of Minorca. Following eco policy, building has been renovated by using natural materials and collaborating with companies with low carbon footprint policy. Rooms are equipped with organic hand-made mattresses and organic bed and bath linen, all from Coco-Mat, a company widely respected for its quality and sustainably sourced materials. Historic elements of the building have been carefully restored and contrasted by reform in contemporary and minimalistic style. Most rooms feature balcony or outdoor space with city views, original pieces of design furniture and art works of international contemporary artists. All rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, Netflix and a bluetooth speaker. A la carte breakfast is served every morning in hotel’s internal patio, prepared by using local and organic produce.
