Guesthouse Nassauer Hof (Sankt Goarshausen, Germany)

A warm welcome to you from the Nassauer Hof, in the Loreley city of St. Goarshausen! We are pleased about your visit to the Nassauer Hof and say ‘Herzlich Willkommen’ let yourself be spoiled in our house. We hope you find everything you would like to eat on our menu, and we wish you a pleasant stay. In our kitchen, we use mostly regional products; game and lamb from the Rhine Valley and the hills, organic cheese from local farmers and sausages made by butchers from our town. We prepare our food with fresh ingredients from scratch, and we therefore ask for your patience when sometimes, a rush might lead to a short time of waiting. On our wine menu, you will find only the most exquisite wines from our World Heritage valley. Some of them won the regional quality award ‘Bester Schoppen’, or were awarded with the ‘Kammerpreismünze’ for their high quality. Our ‘old house‘ looks back on an eventful history: built 220 years ago as a post rider station, it was later used as a theatre, cinema and as a medical examination place for military service. In the past, it housed class rooms of our grammar school, and during the French occupation it was even used as a police station and prison.
