About Thatchings Guest House

Thatchings is a 4 Star Guest House situated with in a Trout and Game Estate and forms part of the Midlands Meander - South Africa's premier Arts and Crafts route. All of our rooms are under traditional African thatch, have en-suite bathrooms, are heated and there are electric blankets on all beds. Flat screen TV's and tea/coffee making facilities are provided. Log fire in the lounge and dining area where guests can enjoy pre dinner drinks and sumptuous meals. There are a number of game on the property. You might see Zebra, Eland, Impalas, Black wildebeest, vervet monkeys to name a few. Bird life is prolific with over 150 species recorded. The Midlands Meander makes for an enjoyable time in visiting the many craft and arts outlets. The area has many spa's, restaurants, pubs and golf courses to add to your enjoyment.
