The Wild Boar is set in open countryside yet accessible easily via the M6. It has the atmosphere of an old coaching inn, but with the benefit of modern facilities that make it suitable for events and conferences too. The Wild Boar's 33 comfortable and individual guest rooms, all with en-suite facilities, enjoy good natural lighting, and are beautifully appointed with individual charm conveying a romantic atmosphere. One extra cot/crib for a family child can be accommodated. For business meetings there are two dedicated rooms with the larger, air conditioned, Wild Boardroom being able to accommodate up to 40 delegates. Locally produced seasonal ingredients are sourced by the chef, whilst the inn has the welcome feature of keeping the bottles that guests have bought, and not finished, for their future visits. Windermere Golf Course is within walking distance; all residents have free use of facilities at the Low Wood Bay Resort.
