The Casas de Campo da Barroca were once the typical houses of the village of Tabosa do Carregal, in Beira Alta, in Sernancelhe county. Today, restored and transformed into the form and content, continue to preserve the soul that has always given them grace in a perfect harmony between traditional and contemporary, between rural and sophisticated, looking in every detail convey the essence of country life. The Casas de Campo da Barroca are a group of houses with a common courtyard, including 7 double rooms spread over two houses: Casa das Tias (House of the Aunts) and Casa das Culturas (House of Cultures). The House of the Aunts, has a name that pays homage to the old owners, ancestors of today. It has four rooms with names alluding to flowers grown by the grandmother of the owners: Room of Fuchsias, Room of Hydrangeas, Room of Pitchers and Room of the Heathers. The House of Cultures has three bedrooms spread over two rooms: a T1, with a bedroom (Aquilino Ribeiro room), living room, kitchen and two bathrooms, and a T2, with two bedrooms (Room of Soutos and Room of Vindimas) living room, kitchen and two bathrooms.
