Hotel Gerani Villas (Rethymnon, Greece)

The four Gerani Villas are detached, each set in its own garden with its own good sized swimming pool and the whole site is enclosed by pretty stone walls. The villas are beautiful designed and built near the village of Gerani. The villas are quietly surrounded by a large garden with colourful flowers positioned on the top of a hill and afford beautiful views over the olive trees, the sea and the mountains in the distance. In 2 km, just below the village, there is a small swimming-bay with a tiny fishing-port and a pebbled beach. Mini markets and taverns can be found at a distance of 1 km. Further taverns, shops and other amenities can be found in Rethymno, which is 8 km away. A car is considered to be essential. Gerani's location is ideal for beach lovers as to the west of the village a long sweep of sand, with some laid back beachside tavernas, runs all the way to the pretty little resort of Georgioupols and to the east of Rethymnon the busier beaches can provide all manner of water sports. Inland from the village the foothills of the mountains provide excellent terrain for walkers and nature lovers.
