Pros: Went back to this amazing place ...and felt again as I was back home  I love the relaxing atmosphere of this organic Berber house with an internal yard, I highly appreciate the authenticity and kindness of the owners. Mohammed and his lovely family are always so caring, we had one of the best tajins and Berber pizza ever!!! He helped us with transportation and programming the rest of our stay! If you're looking for authentic Sahara experience I highly recommend this place Cons: -

Pros: This place is amazing. Everything was clean and organised. The family is great and very welcoming! Absolutely recommend! This is one of the best places I had ever stayed! Cons: -

Pros: The location is perfect, open the blue door in the backyard you are in Sahara. It's very relaxing to have a walk in the night and watch stars(and it's super easy because it's so close). Both the tent and the room are very comfortable with bright roomy bathroom (they have public ones for tent). Breakfast is delicious and dinner is prepared by a local family in the neighborhood, very fresh and delicious menu always. They have a spacious square courtyard, in a traditional and aesthetic style, with lush tranquil tropical plants. Birds singing under the eaves. When the veranda lanterns are on you are in a palace and when the they are off moonlight falling down, silvering everything. The rooftop is also a good place to watch the sunrise over the dunes and the sunset into the mountains. There's also a large living room with Wifi and soft pillows. The hotel can also contact the camel trip and desert safaris if you ask (camels waiting for you just at the door). I stayed in a small oasis, literally inside the desert, and right behind one of the largest Dunes in the area. The view from the top of the dune is stunning from day to night, and it's also the best place for sandboarding. The sand in this desert is very soft and golden/orange in colour. It's a precious experience to stay and explore it just as I like, watching the colours change and the stars move. The host Muhammad is very welcoming, sincere and helpful, if you want any information you can just go to him. I had a great time at both the hotel as well the oasis, I missed the people and the landscape so much if I back to Merzouga I'll definitely back to here. Cons: -

Beautiful courtyard very close to the Desert

Pros: It was amazing. The first night we slept in the tent and that was a great experience especially for our kids (7 and 10). The second night we were planning on staying in the desert. However from the big dune we could see all the camps in the distance and it looked like a tourist town; dozens of tents cramped in a small space which aren't actually in the sand dunes but just behind it. So we found that this Maison gave you more of that desert experience since you open the blue gate and are literally in the Sahara. For 20€ a night for 4 people a ton cheaper as well. Best location in Merzouga. So we spent another night in a nice family room that the owner gave us for a really good price. He also organised a camel ride for us. We were picked up behind the blue gate and went to the big dune. Only the four of us with a really nice guide. It was amazing and for 120 Dirham for 2 hours per person a more than fair price. The gated garden was great to chill and for the kids to play. There is also a big nice room inside to relax. Highly recommended Cons: Two out of the four mattresses in the tent were truly uncomfortable and harsh to sleep on. Also there are no sheets to cover in the tent just a big blanket that isn't washed every time. Was OK for a night but we slept in long trousers and a fleece. No breakfast option but plenty of cafes a 5 minutes stroll away.

Pros: Exceptional place! Beautiful, peaceful, organicly made, traditional house run by lovely Berber family. I went to Merzouga by bus and because of horrible weather conditions I arrived to the destination very late but they didn't mind it at all and actually I was received by Hassan with hot tea and a single room instead of the tent that I've booked! It was such an appreciated gesture! I was extremely happy because the weathe was really bad..raining and very cold so the room was like a blessing  The place is very clean and tidy, with plenty of common space to relax and enjoy the vibe of Sahara. Apart of lovely rooms and cosy atmosphere, you can order home made, delicious Maroccan food, prepared and served with love. I was enchanted by the blue gate to the desert .. what a surprise when you open it and behind the door you witness the beauty of the Merzouga dunes! I can't thanks enough for the kindness, helpful informations and great time I have spent in Maison Adrar Merzouga. Shukran Mohammed and all your family and inshallah see you again! Cons: -

Pros: The Maison is beautifull and peacefull, the backyard door brings you directly into the desert. I made a Trip to a oasis too and i prefer the position of the Maison. Mohammed and Franzi are beautifull human beings and the three adorable cats of the Maison will make you fell at home Cons: -
