About Paço de Lanheses

The Paço de Lanheses is a magnificent and grand manor house, remodeled in XVIII century, adapted to the comfort of to our days. Located on a quiet and private farm, it is classified as Public Interest Monument for its architectural beauty, history and good condition, representing a cultural value of national importance. It was built in the golden age of "Discoveries" for leisure and agricultural production, as well, as to the nobility of their noble lords. Inside it is adapted to meet the comfort requirements of today while keeping the old style, the aristocratic family that keeps it for centuries has been always represented by the Counts of Almada and Avranches.
