An overnight stay on board a tall ship is something quite different from a night in a hotel. There are enough hotel beds. Instead we offer modern comfort right on the water. With an elegant appearance and surrounded by the fascinating flair of our historic harbour, well known for its impressive modern architecture. There you can let yourself be lulled to sleep by the waves, listen to the song of the raindrops or enjoy the sparkling night sky on deck. Our J.R. Tolkien is a lovely gaff top sailing schooner of 42 meters length. She offers twelve comfortable cabins, a captain's cabin and a spacious and comfortable lounge with its own bar. There you can enjoy an interesting conversation and an excellent bottle of red wine to round off the evening. For sleeping you can then retreat to your cosy cabin, of course with adjoining WC and shower area. We are looking forward to welcoming you on board.
