Hotel Shakti (Kathmandu, Nepal)

We are one of the pioneer hotels in Kathmandu, helping the tourism industry since the dawn of backpacker's destination in Nepal in the 50s & 60s. Ours is a heritage building with a hint of modern touch, that will give you the feel of the bygone era of Nepal without letting go of modern amenities. We are one of the few hotels in Thamel, who can boast of two tranquil gardens, tended with seasonal flowers for your maximum relaxation. In future, we plan to extend a spa & a pool. Recently, Hotel Shakti has been awarded the Environmentally Friendly Hotel by the SEID project, funded by the European Union. Above all, We are a hotel "where tranquility matters."
