Guesthouse Egilsborg is in a quiet part of central Reykjavík, 500 m from the lively shopping street, Laugavegur. Boutiques, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and bars are within a few minutes' walk. This property features self check-in, for independent travellers. We do not have any reception. Guesthouse Vikingur’s rooms are cute, small and simple and have access to shared bathroom facilities. The common lounge area includes a microwave for light meal preparations. Kitchen unavailable for guests. In summer, guests can sit outside and relax in the sun. Laundry facilities are available on site. Discounted rental cars with unlimited mileage can also be arranged. Klambratún Park, 300 m from Vikingur, provides opportunities for relaxing walks. Hallgrímskirkja Church is 10 minutes’ walk away. We have construction happening outside which is why we have reduced the price of the rooms during these times, as there is noise disturbance during working hours.
