Wild Brook Retreat is an Eco-lodge located in Gohari range of Rajaji National Park near Haridwar on the other side of perrineal river Ganges bisecting the park. There are cottage rooms constructed on platfarms with thick weathred stone walls and high ceilings covered with thatch to keep the ambient temperature away in summer and winter season when the park remains open.During rainy season the park remains closed. The sun factor and wind factor is considered and the cottages have been made in an eco-friendly way. It is Project Elephant and Project Tiger park. There are other mammals like Panther,Sloth Bear,Barking Deer, Goral,Yellow Throated Marten,Jackals,Indian civet,Pangolin and Rhesus monkey and Langur besides wild Elephants. It is a paradise for bird watchers supporting about 400 bird species in all seasons like Great Hornbills, Crested Kingfisher,Shaheen Falcon,Crested Hawk Eagle,Oriental Pied Hornbill ,Wall Creeper are seen during park drives. The distance from Delhi via Meerut,-and Haridwar is 224 km is about 5-6 hrs .drive.Well connected with Shatabdi Express till Haridwar and Jolly grant Airport 36 Km from Wild Brook retreat via Rishikesh. Food is local home cooked meals.
