Resort OmBodhi Retreat (Kumta, India)

Spread over 10 acres of lush green landscape, OmBodhi Retreat is a beachfront property. It has a total of 25 rooms and cottages with veranda/balcony. Most of the rooms/cottages are less than a minute’s walk to the magnificent uncrowded sea beach. The four family rooms have a provision of kitchen also for the guests staying for long term. All rooms have air-condition, attached private bathroom with geyser for hot water, free Wifi, fridge, cupboard, toiletries, There are generators in case of power failure, free parking, laundry service. Our restaurant, Cafe OmBodhi, is amidst the green trees overlooking the beach. A quiet candle-light dinner, laced with moonlight and the energising saltiness of sea breeze is a never forgetting experience. We also have an option of outdoor dining amidst the tall trees between the restaurant and the beach. We have a Yoga space right in front of the beach to relax and soothe our inner Self. We are an eco-friendly property. All the water goes through the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and the waste water is also treated and used for our plantation. Our cowshed (Gaushala) has cows and we make compost for our organic cultivation. There are numerous places of interest for sightseeing like popular temples, waterfalls and adventure activities. We are also involved with the local communities in various ways.
