Casa da Vigia is located in Calheta de Nesquim 18 km from the village of Lajes do Pico. an area where you can enjoy a broad view of the ocean. This place was used as a lookout in the early days of whale hunting in the parish. The house has high sentimental value because it came from family heritage and, before being rebuilt, was house of old whalers. Casa da Vigia was completely rebuilt with all the conditions of comfort maintaining a traditional architecture. The house has two apartments. The top floor is a 2 bedroom apartment with: a room with double bed and private bathroom; a room with twin beds and private bathroom; an additional bathroom; a kitchen and common room. The lower floor has: a studio with a bedroom with two single beds, kitchenette, sitting area with TV and private bathroom; a laundry room (common to both floors). Casa da Vigia is a recreational area and outdoor dining and panoramic views of the village.
