In addition to the environmental aspect, the intangible cultural heritage "Kinderzeche" also plays an important role. The background of the traditional Old Town Festival is reflected in the names and colors of the rooms. Furthermore, the "Altstadtmittehotel Sonne" has an elevator in the house, as well as secured parking spaces and a charging station for the bicycles. The common reception is located in the "Hotel Sonne", which is currently being retrofitted and also equipped with modern air conditioning technology, as well as a key card system.
