Hillcrest is a a family run guest house, set on the edge of town. We offer 4-star VisitScotland graded accommodation and all 6 of our bedrooms are en-suite - some with just showers, some with both bath & shower. One room is on the ground floor with a view over the garden, and the other 5 on the first floor - all bar one of which have wonderful open view across the fields to the water beyond. All rooms include tea & coffee facilities, organic toiletries for your use while here, dressing gowns, TV, CD player. The house was built in 1875 & retains many of its original Victorian features which we have worked hard to maintain, whilst offering our guests all the modern comforts they expect today. We offer a guests lounge, a large dining room and there is wi-fi throughout the house. As well as a hearty breakfast, we offer set 3-c evening meals 5-nights a week with the focus very much on seasonal, local produce. We can cater for most dietary requirements - as this must be booked in advance, just let us know!
