Due to the great diversity of flora and fauna found in Pateira de Fermentelos, Ria de Aveiro and Bio-Ria de Estarreja, birdwatching is an activity that is very popular with nature lovers. In summer and in the Christmas season, Águeda is filled with color with streets adorned with colorful umbrellas.
