A 17th century manor house in Cumbria with views overlooking the Irish Sea, Moresby Hall is a 5-star hotel quite unlike any other. There are six unique rooms here, each with its own style and features. The Copeland room features a jacuzzi bath and TV in its en-suite bathroom. The Le Meschin room has a super king four-poster bed and the best views overlooking the sea. All rooms have tea and coffee facilities and an iPhone speaker dock. The hall grounds provide tranquil landscaped gardens to sit and relax in. Free parking and Wi-Fi is provided for all guests staying here. The De Millom restaurant is open every morning for breakfast, serving a traditional English breakfast made from ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Dinner is available here but must be pre-booked. The nearest town, Whitehaven, is two miles away and features a marina and local shops. A 20-minute drive will take you to the border of Lake District National Park.
