The Bellagio Fountains are located in front of the Bellagio Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas. They were built at an estimated cost of $75 million. The fountains are set in a 9-acre man made lake between the hotel and the strip. They incorporate a network of pipes with more than 1,200 nozzles of which there are four kinds. The Oarsmen sends jets of water in a full range of spherical motions ,Shooters which shoot water upwards, Super Shooters send a water blast as high as 240 ft (73 m) in the air and Extreme Shooters which can send a water blast as high as 460 ft (140 m). When this is joined with the 45,000 lights and music usually opera, classical or Broadway tunes then the show is ready. Show times are Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 pm a show every 1/2 hour from 8:00 pm - 12:00 am. a show every 15 minutes Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm a show every 1/2 hour 8:00 pm - 12:00 am a show every 15 minutes. The show is free and is only cancelled if there are high winds.
