The Henley Festival is a 5 day event in Henley on Thames on the banks of the river. It is an annual event that takes place in July one week after the Royal Henley Regatta and it uses the same stages and floating platform that are erected for that event. The main stage usually features live classical or jazz music with different music styles represented on smaller stages as well as comedy and theatre. There are also art exhibitions, craft stalls, street entertainers and temporary restaurants set up for the duration of the event. Nightly firework displays also take place. Performers at the 2010 event, which took place between 7-11th July, included Will Young, Nigel Kennedy and Bryn Terfel. The event is open only to ticket holders and one ticket allows access to all areas. The dress code is black tie and designer evening wear.
