Sheriff Lodge has a wonderful history behind it and is now a 5 bedroom relaxing B&B situated at the tranquil end of Matlock. It is a great base for all activities in the area, for all ages. The range of roooms is from a family room, twin or doubles to a superior double on the top floor. The breakfasts are sublime and will set you up for the day ahead in the fresh Derbyshire air. The area is easily accessible by public transport as well as a large, private car park. The owner has secured plenty of deals with local restaurants as well as money off vouchers for local attractions such as Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, Heights of Abraham and Crich Tramway Village. There is a guest sitting room to relax in during the day - magazines, games, DVDs, books, maps and newspapers are provided. The rooms have a high spec hair dryers, TVs, DVD's, amenities trays. etc. Any dietary requirements can also be catered for, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, etc. We are also dog friendly in two of the rooms. There is a field close by for morning walks and plenty of long and delightful places to walk within striking distance for our four legged furry friends.
