Victoria Theatre (Halifax, United Kingdom)

Originally called The Victoria Hall this building opened as a concert hall in 1901. It has been owned and operated by Calderdale District Council since 1960. Between 1973 and 1983 it was known as The Civic Theatre before reverting back to its original name. Today it plays host to comedy and music acts with capacity of 1500-1900, as well as community events and activities.
